Impressions Children's Ministry
About Jeramy and
Melissa: Born and raised in New Zealand, Jeramy and Melissa were married in 1995 and
shortly thereafter moved to the United States in 1997. Since their move to the
US, they have lived in Hawaii, Michigan and now Texas! It was during their time
in Michigan they strongly received a calling on their lives to work with
children. They answered this call by volunteering in Kalamazoo, Michigan working
with elementary aged kids doing puppet ministry and large community outreaches.
God then opened the door for them to become the Children's Pastors at Cathedral
in the Pines.
Jeramy and Melissa have two children, Hannah and Samuel. They feel blessed to be
ministering to kids and are excited about what the future holds.
Vision and Goals:
Our vision is to share the love of Jesus with children from all walks of life.
We feel a great responsibility to prepare them for their future so they never
depart from His ways.
Our goals are:
• To equip each child with a life-long impression in their hearts of who Jesus
is through creative bible teaching, praise and worship and interactive small
groups.
• To reach out to the surrounding community and beyond through special events,
bus ministry and missions outreach. Christ said, "Go into all the world and
preach the good news to all creation." (Mark 16:15)
• To train and equip our volunteers so that we provide a safe environment for
kids to have fun and learn about Jesus.
